Day 6- I AM Creative

"You can't use up creativity; the more you use, the more you will have." - Mia Angelou

>

Let me start with a simple question:  Where would you rate yourself on the creativity scale?

If your instinct is to say, “I’m not very creative,” let me be clear—that belief is not true. It’s a lie you’ve been carrying, not a fact about who you are.

From the moment you could crawl, you were creative.

A stick became a sword.

A cardboard box became a fortress.

Toilet paper became a dress.

Creativity didn’t disappear—you were taught to contain it.

Anytime you’ve solved a problem, built something with Legos, tried a new topping on your pizza, or approached a situation differently than a coworker, you were being creative.

Creativity isn’t just art—it’s problem-solving, innovation, and imagination in action.

So why do so many people believe they aren’t creative?

Because somewhere along the way, someone told you to color inside the lines.

They laughed at your idea.

They ignored your voice.

They compared you to someone else—and you learned to play it safe.

But here’s the truth that changes everything:

You were created by a creative God.

A God who knit you together in your mother’s womb.

A God who painted the heavens and formed the earth with intention and beauty.

And Scripture tells us you were created in His image.

If God is creative—and you bear His image—then creativity is part of your design.

You don’t need to discover creativity.

You need to release it.

Today’s declaration is an identity statement:  I AM CREATIVE.

Write it.  Post it on your mirror.  Declare it daily.

Stop denying what’s already inside you.  It’s time to create again.

Declare out loud one thing you are greatful for today.

Today's gratitude challenge: Before you finish, text at least one person and tell them how thankful you are for their influence in your life. Remember we are blessed to be a blessing.

“In ordinary life, we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
