Day 22 - I AM Faithful

“Be faithful in the small things because it is in them that your strength lies.” Mother Teresa

>

I AM FAITHFUL

What does it actually mean to be faithful?

Before we think of it as a spiritual condition, think of it as an attitude and action that says:

You can count on me.

Faithfulness is rooted in faith—having strong belief and confident trust beyond yourself. For me, that begins with faith in God. But faithfulness shows up in everyday life through consistency, integrity, and follow-through.

When I declare I AM FAITHFUL, I am declaring that I am:

  • Steadfast, even when it’s inconvenient

  • Loyal to my commitments, not just my feelings

  • Trustworthy in what I say and how I show up

Faithfulness is not a single decision—it’s a process of being found faithful.

It begins in the small things:

  • Showing up on time

  • Doing what you said you would do

  • Taking responsibility instead of placing blame

  • Staying engaged when things get difficult

Spiritually, faithfulness means living out what you believe—consistently, not selectively.

And here’s an important truth:

Those who are faithful in the small things are often entrusted with greater responsibility and invited into greater influence.

So today, reflect honestly:

  • What does faithfulness look like in my life right now?

  • Where am I being faithful?

  • Where do I need to grow in consistency?

Would the people closest to you describe you as faithful?

Today’s declaration is intentional and clear:  I AM FAITHFUL.

And I will live in a way that proves it.

Embrace Imperfection

Today’s gratitude practice invites you to look at your setbacks differently.

Mistakes and missteps are not signs of failure— they are often the places where growth begins.

Instead of replaying what went wrong, pause and reflect on what you learned.

Ask yourself:

  • What did this experience teach me?

  • How did it shape my perspective or strengthen my character?

  • In what ways did it help me grow?

You might write something like:

  • I am grateful for a mistake I made because it revealed where I needed to grow and improve.

  • I am grateful for a relationship that ended because it clarified what I truly value and need.

  • I am grateful for a project that didn’t succeed because it stretched my creativity and resilience.

Imperfection is not something to hide from—it’s something to learn from.

When we embrace our setbacks with gratitude, we turn them into teachers rather than burdens.

Action Step:

Take 30 seconds and text, email, or write a note to one person you are grateful for today.

Encourage them.

Bless them.

Thank them for the role they’ve played in your life.
