Day 25 - I AM Peaceful

"Peace is not the absence of challenge or strife, peace is the knowledge of the presence of God in the challenge and strife." - Rick Torrison

I AM AT PEACE

To walk in peace rather than fear or anxiety is a daily desire for many of us. And the truth is—some days we live it well, and some days we come up short.

Peace is not a life free from fear, uncertainty, or anxious thoughts.

Peace is the ability to see past them—to a future rooted in hope.

Most peace stealers don’t begin with circumstances.

They begin with our thoughts.

Thoughts shape feelings.

Feelings stir emotions.

Emotions influence behavior.

When our thoughts are filled with “what if”, fear and doubt take over. And fear and doubt are the enemies of peace—they lead to unhealthy patterns and keep us stuck instead of moving forward.

Peace doesn’t come from controlling everything around us.

It comes from learning to guard what’s happening within us.

Today, reflect honestly:

  • What thoughts have been stealing my peace?

  • Where am I allowing fear or anxiety to shape my responses?

  • What would change if I chose peace in the middle of uncertainty?

It is possible to walk in peace—even during challenge and conflict.

Today’s declaration is intentional:  I AM AT PEACE.

In today’s video challenge, we’ll explore practical ways to walk peacefully through every season—not by avoiding hardship, but by facing it with clarity, faith, and steadiness.

Choose peace today.

It’s stronger than fear.

The Gratitude Meditation

Meditation is a powerful tool for strengthening gratitude—and gratitude meditation is one of the simplest ways to practice it.

At its core, gratitude meditation is about intentionally reflecting on the people, experiences, and moments that have shaped your life—with appreciation.

This practice is not new, nor is it limited to one tradition or belief system. Across cultures and generations, people have paused to give thanks—not only for what is good, but for what has formed them.

Gratitude meditation doesn’t require silence, special posture, or a perfect setting.

It can be practiced anywhere:

  • While your coffee is brewing

  • During a quiet moment in the car

  • While walking or sitting outside

The practice is simple:

Slow down.

Breathe.

Reflect on what—and who—you are grateful for.

And remember—gratitude is not just about the easy or pleasant parts of life. It also includes the challenges that stretched you, taught you, and helped you grow. Often, what once felt difficult becomes a gift when viewed through a wider lens.

Today, allow gratitude to be both reflective and expansive.

Gratitude trains your mind to see blessing—not just in what you enjoy, but in what has shaped you.

Take a few quiet moments today and practice gratitude meditation—wherever you are.
