“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win." -Sun Tzu
Victorious warriors win first.
This truth takes us back to an earlier declaration: I am prepared.
Victory is not won on the battlefield.
It is won long before—in preparation, in belief, and in the quiet decision that says I can and I will.
Strength is built before it is needed.
Confidence is formed before the challenge arrives.
Victory begins when we invest the time and energy to prepare our minds for what lies ahead.
The challenge with this declaration is how we define victorious.
If victory is only about winning, defeating others, or standing on a podium, then we are chasing the wrong outcome.
To be victorious means to overcome an enemy or antagonist.
And as we’ve learned throughout this journey, the first enemy we must overcome is not external—it’s internal.
Our thoughts shape our beliefs.
Our beliefs drive our actions.
And our actions determine our outcomes.
The greatest battles are fought in the mind.
And the greatest victories are won there as well.
Today’s declaration is intentional and strong:
I AM VICTORIOUS.
In today’s video challenge, we’ll unpack what it means to be victorious in your thoughts—because when you win there, everything else begins to follow.
You don’t wait for victory.
You think your way into it.
Recognize Chances
Today, pause and reflect on the opportunities that have shaped your journey.
Chances often arrive quietly—through new roles, unexpected changes, or moments that stretch us beyond our comfort zones. When we look back, we can see how many of those opportunities became turning points for growth.
Consider the chances you’ve been given, personally or professionally, and how they’ve helped move you forward.
You might write something like
-
I am grateful for opportunities that expanded my knowledge and perspective.
-
I am grateful for challenges that pushed me to grow and develop new skills.
-
I am grateful for experiences that allowed me to see the world—and myself—differently.
Opportunities don’t always look like gifts at first.
Often, they arrive disguised as change, discomfort, or uncertainty.
When we acknowledge them with gratitude, we recognize how each chance has played a role in shaping who we are becoming.
Action Step:
Take 30 seconds and text, email, or write a note to one person you are grateful for today.
Encourage them.
Bless them.
Thank them for the impact they’ve made in your life.
